Artist Denise Bee   "At home in my Studio"               Hello there and welcome to my little corner of  the world wide web! My name is Denise Bee and for as long as I can remember I have loved to draw, doodle, cut, paste, hammer, glue, color, nail, design and paint!  I came from a long line of very artisticly creative and thrifty people.  It's not WHAT they had but rather what they DID with what they had that truly made their house a home.  It was a blessing of contentment.  My parents had that gift.  They made our house a warm, friendly, comfortable place to be.........home!             God in his infinite wisdom chose to bless me with creativity instead of deep pockets, and I am forever grateful that He did.  When I married my best friend and love 17 years ago, we set out to furnish and decorate our first home on a very tight budget.  We scoured garage sales and flea markets in search of anything cheap, old and with "character".   We would cart them home and immediately I would begin the transformation from trash to treasure.  I was "giddy" with anticipation.   It didn't take long before the house was FULL to over flowing......one thing about creativity, you can't turn it off!  It just kills me to pass up anything with potential.  And it's not often that I do..........just take a look in our barn.  Yikes!  I must admit,  I get a little carried away sometimes.  My hubby is so patient with me.  He has tripped over many a pile of "treasures" awaiting my attention.  They sometimes land in the garage,  porch, patio, yard, or basement before they make it to the barn or my studio.   Sorry honey! We found that the shabby chic style of decorating was perfect for our very limited budget.  It provided the warm, romantic look and feel that we desired for our home.  The other great thing was that it is so kid friendly.  When it's already distressed the kids simply can't hurt it!               Anyway, back to my story.  Before long friends and neighbors were asking, "where did you get that, can you make me one"?  I spent many hours painting and practicing my craft, developing my own unique style.  And behold my business was born!  I have been so richly blessed.  Through my business and a wonderfully supportive husband, God has enabled me to be a stay home mom of 4 beautiful children.  For many years I have been doing commission work for local clients and selling my work at area retail shops, art shows and in the winter months, ebay.  While I still sell my work in these venues, I am thrilled to say I now have my own web site.......and here you are!  Oh my gosh, it's so exciting!  Who would have thought that a decorative artist  from a small town in Ohio could be selling her pieces to customers all over the world?  It's truly overwhelming.   I serve an amazing God!  May my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ receive the glory because He gave the gift.        Meet The Family       4 Beautiful Blessings From God   Ryan, Kyle, Dylan and Madyson          We have been clogging and performing for years.   Me, daughter Madyson and sister-in-law Beth.           I was so blessed to be part of a medical mission trip to India      September '06.  Our church has partnered with India Gospel            League to bring the Good News of Jesus to this nation.         My husband also took part in a mission trip to New Orleans both in '06 & '07.       We visited Niagara Falls, Canada this past October.  A beautiful sight to experience from a creative, magnificent God!           When they say you'll get wet on the Maid of the Mist......their not kidding!!
